Public Health Social Media Campaign Lives

To support their mission of “better healthcare for all” — client Med-IQ and Coverys engaged SOMA to launch a thought leadership digital program to address public health topics many Americans are grappling with, particularly in a post-pandemic era. Tapping into leading medical experts, we engaged with four unique content creators to co-host individual 30-minute live sessions on their social platforms around a designated topic. By giving voice to the urgency of these public health challenges, the live conversations worked to bring facts and proactive advice right to listeners with the opportunity to tune in at their convenience.

Campaign Objectives

  • Identify four leading national influencers to host a Live session on their social media platform, Facebook or Instagram, with a Med-IQ appointed faculty expert on one of four topics during the fall of 2022: School Gun Violence, Men’s Mental Health, Mental Health in Stressful Times and Black Maternal Health.
  • Host four 30-minute Live sessions between September - December 2022 to explore meaningful topics impacting public health on a deeper level with specialized faculty appointed to the campaign.
  • Generate 40,000 session views of the Live sessions.

Influencer Team

We exceeded our session views goals by 450%. The deep SOMA knowledge of the influencer landscape, including understanding the demographics of each influencer’s audiences, enabled the assembling of a core team of creators to host these vitally important and sensitive topics.
